Fit and Fab Living Friday Favorites
It's been a great first few weeks of Fall. I'm having a hard time letting go of summer (see #7), but transitioning to a cooler season DOES have its perks. Some of my favorite finds lately have to do with the ultimate work trend, health food that goes the distance, lotions that soothe dry fall skin and more. Let's get cozy and dive right in!
1. Varidesk Soho Laptop Standing Desk
Yes, this is a splurge. But the effects will make it worth it. If you're ready to make the leap, you'll fall in love. I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into when this arrived at the office. After the first day, I left work feeling lighter, a little leaner and with much better posture. I don't stand up the entire day (some days, I am just too lazy), but I try to get in a solid hour or two. Standing desks are a trend that I have a feeling is here to stay. The difference is pretty dramatic. Now, you might not lose weight or you may not even find it suits you, but the option to work standing is truly a treat.
2. Tea Drops
Sure, a standing desk might be one way to perk up your work day, but a hot cup of tea is another and it's a whole lot less expensive. These tea drops are an innovative way to make and take your tea on the go. It dissolves right away in your cup of hot water and all you need to do is stir. I'm a bonafide tea lover and these darling little drops were a welcome addition to my collection of favorites.
3. O-Venture's Big O Key Ring
Often when I'm heading out to the gym, I want to take as little as possible. I'm happier having all of my valuables on me and that's where this nifty little key ring comes in. It's a cute, stylish little accessory that helps me out when I'm running low on time and want to head out for a workout.
4. People for Plants Body Cream
Do you want to know why I love this body cream? It's the sweet aroma of lemon. Lemon is a constant reminder of all things summer, and this organic lotion keeps my dry fall and winter skin in check. Plus, it's from Australia -- somewhere I've always wanted to travel. Maybe one day!
5. Runway Ready Nutrition
I've seen Hum all over social media and I was excited to give it a try. This one-two-punch of biotin and black currant seed oil is beauty made easy. I've tried biotin supplements before, and it truly does make my nails longer and stronger. Now all I need is a cute red and pink manicure to match the absolutely adorable packaging!
KeVita Sparkling Probiotic Drinks
It's fall you say? Well, my beverage preferences are forever stuck in the summertime. I adore iced coffee, lemonade and all things refreshing no matter how far the temperature dips. KeVita drinks are carbonated (my favorite) and taste amazing. No really, they do. I was more than a little nervous to try the "Lemon Cayenne" variety. Lemon cayenne is a great tool for weight loss, but the taste isn't exactly what this flavor combo is known for. It was a bright lemony delight! Probiotics are great for your overall health, too, so throw back a cold one when you wrap up a particularly tough workout.
If you are the sort of person who thinks ice cream is just for summer...we might not be able to be friends. I'm kidding of course, but ice cream is an all-year-round treat in my house. Artic Zero is a new, yummy dessert option that keeps the calories to a minimum. I love the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor.
8. Frownies ph Balancing Complexion Wash
It's never, ever to early to add anti-aging products into your night time beauty routine! This sweet-smelling cleanser is a new favorite. The gentle foam is very refreshing. I love that it's made with natural fruit cider vinegar as well. You just can't go wrong with ACV!
9. Nude Eyeshadow from Hard Candy
There's a super famous makeup palette out there that is all the rage. If you want a similar look, go with "nude" instead! These shadows are drugstore cheap and look simply dazzling on. I've been a huge fan of all things Hard Candy lately, and for good reason! The price point is crazy low, and everything looks perfectly pretty.
